SPIRITUAL ECOLOGY OF AL-ANDALUS
Azahara
Azahara is a collaborative space near Granada, Spain, where we explore the spiritual ecology of Al-Andalus to deepen our connection with Allah (swt). This includes applied knowledge of sustainable agriculture and creative arts, both historical and modern.
Proyectos
Current projects at Azahara include planting trees, restoring infrastructure, such as spaces for study and prayer, developing sustainable crafts and food production to support the local economy, as well as a land restoration project of Azahara’s natural park site.
Eventos
As well as regular open days, events hosted at Azahara include hands-on agriculture and crafts workshops by experts in the field, circles of dhikr (remembrance), and outdoor activity camps for kids. We also plan to host lectures and courses by visiting scholars.
